Steel rolls are commonly used in the process line of steel mills to transport hot steel through the processing line in the steel industry. Lyons can manufacture new rolls to customer's print specifications and requirements. We use 1045 to 4140 grade materials and can flame harden the rolls. Pins are used in industrial applications as connector pins for heavy equipment . Lyons can manufacture pins from customer's print specifications and requirements. We use materials ranging from 1045 to 4140 and heat treat the material as required by the customer to achieve hardnesses of up to 60 - 65 RC. Our pins have been very successfully used in drag lines for the mining industry.
