Including in the rebuild, we offer UT inspection, new or rebuilt wheels to customer specifications, new pins and bushings, new brake shoes, rebuilt or new brake rigging, rebuilt EMD motors.

Basic repair of an EMD truck would include:

• Truck Dismantle- remove wheels, axles, motors, and brake rigging
  
• Axle Assembly- install new 40” wheels on axles, sonic test, magnaflux & polish axles to micro finish
  
• Brakes- straighten brake rigging, re-bush, restore pin or linkage holes, replace cotter keys & assorted pins, replace brake shoes with repaired shoes
  
• Frame- steam clean, check for cracks & wear, squared, magnaflux, repair wear plates, check & replace damaged springs, replace center bowl rings
  
• Bearings- replace both motor mount support bearings & journal box bearings
